As the years have gone by, I have tweaked my library to reflect what I need to know and what I may desire to learn in any given moment. It has served me well. I’m happy to now share most of the books I have enjoyed and learned from over the years. The holiday season is a great time to gift one of these books to someone, or treat yourself to a nice book. You are probably thinking: “Geez, what a long list. How do you get the time. I listen to a lot of my books on audible or libby. Well, I don’t listen to all of them at the same time. Currently, I am focused on building my coaching business so I listen to books about business and a few from the personal development and spirituality list.
I usually listen to one book a week. When I first started listening to audiobooks, I was traveling for locum assignments so I consumed a whole lot more during my travels. I drove long hours to assignments and binged on different books during my long drives. It’s much harder to do now that I do not travel for work. Currently, I listen to books on my walks, at bedtime, and sometimes while doing house chores (cleaning, cooking, etc). The good news is that audiobooks are on demand so you get to listen to them whenever you want to. Convenience at its best. I must confess, I prefer to read hard copy autobiographies.
I hope you found this helpful! As always, self-experimentation is the key to opening up new possibilities in your life. Give it a try and you might be pleasantly surprised.
